WOW i haven't blogged since i started college... crazy shit man. my life is so different. i live in the dorms, i have a silly little boyfriend, my friends have jobs and cars and it feels like we are all trying to learn how to b adults all at the same time. it doesn't feel like i'm standing at the beginning of the rest of my life anymore, more like i'm starting to walk that road. it's hard, but like, what other choice do i have? no more goofy shit this is undeniably REALLL... so let me talk a bit. u r reading MY blog after all. first order of business, DG WORLD TOUR ofc i'm going w my bff. we're going to the LA show on the 9th. it's gonna be CRAZY i might piss myself and cry and scream and throw up, but it'll just be because i'm transcending my shitty mortal form in the presence of gods. i can't wait to start seeing videos from the tour. i saw some videos of ecco's performance from the yves tumor shows and HOLY SHIT... in the flesh,.. in ...

this week i was in seattle and while i was there, i bought + read a couple graphic novels that i would actually highly recommend.  the first book i read was epileptic 1 by david b. i liked this one a lot. it's like an autobiography and it is VERY interesting. the artist had a very complex childhood, and his art portrays his child self's point of view beautifully. to kind of explain the plot, the artist's brother had epilepsy and to treat him, his family turned to like, homeopathic methods. they even stayed at communes! it's a very interesting story, and i plan on reading the other volumes.  the next book is other stories and the horse you rode in on by dakota mcfadzean. i really liked this book!! the cartoons were cute and the plots of the comics are perfectly mysterious. i have a feeling that one day i will be in a situation and i'll be like, oh this is just like that one comic from that book. my favorite was probably the horse you rode in on. it's relatable a...

i LOVE the concept of influencers. it's really interesting to watch someone else's life and get really invested in them just for fun. def one of my favorite things to do on the internet. my favorite influencers are/were just people posting, like just a goth girl from the midwest, or some guy with a mullet, or a soundcloud rapper's wife. the soundcloud rapper's wife is the one who inspired me to write this. yesterday, her cat was poisoned to DEATH by LILIES like the flower!!! can you even believe it!! that is going to occupy my brain for like, the next 2 weeks.  anyway, i feel like social media has been consistently closing the gap between regular person and internet personality ever since like, myspace. there are BILLIONS (maybe) of people online. anybody could be an influencer or become a real celebrity. plus, there are so many niche communities on the internet, and within those there are like popular people or accounts. it's really so interesting how our culture ...

okay so it's june 2nd, which means i have to figure out the style for summer ASAP.  i already have some ideas, but they're not the freshest. swim trunks and a bikini top is DEFINITELY the move this season, and of course i love a good tank top. my worst fashion habit is wearing The Female Manipulator outfit when i can't think of something interesting. (a female manipulator outfit consists of a tank top, big pants, and a hoodie with layered jewelry) i didn't put a lot of thought into the spring season, since i was going to school, which allowed me to recycle a lot of my winter pieces- sweater vests, big carhartts, long sleeves, etc. fall and winter fashion always gets me the most excited. i love a good sleeve or a big jacket or some nice shoes or a earth-toned button up. spring was all about these terrible little cargo shorts for me, and you WILL see me wearing them this season, but here's what i'm thinking... i am definitely going to act on some of my long-stand...

OK OK OK SO yesterday, i was made aware that bladee was releasing an album on may 28. so basically, 3 pm the day before because... timezones or whatever. so i stayed home and waited until 3 pm to hear it. i had heard one of the songs, hotel breakfast, before because it was somehow leaked under the name breakfast closed, and i really fucking liked it. so basically, i was screaming and crying and throwing up waiting for this album to come out. okay whatever this is hard to explain so lets get on with the review.  reviews ♡ (they're all 5 stars) first, i want to discuss the production because this album sounds like it was actually produced by God himself. it was produced by six people, so i'm not sure who did the producing on each individual song. i'm not very good with distinguishing producers... tough shit ig but anyway, i loved the way his voice sounds and the ad libs and all the little sounds. ofc i love all the laughter on this album, because like, laughing is one of my...

yesterday, my best friend let me borrow her copy of junji ito's venus in the blind spot collection in exchange for my copy of uzumaki and i just finished reading it this morning! it was so amazing (as usual w junji ito's work). this is the collection with The Enigma of Amigara Fault in it, so of course i loved that story. the chair and parrot stories were phenomenal and the artwork was so powerful (again, as usual). my least favorite stories were probably billions alone and venus in the blind spot. both had kind of mediocre endings that i wish i had more context for! other than the endings, the stories were still engaging and billions alone had stunningly horrific scenes! it was amazing! the other stories were okay. i liked principal post and the licking woman, but i wasn't a huge fan of keepsake. master umezz and me was funny, but i feel like it should've gone at the end of the book to close it out like ito did with the story at the end of uzumaki. all my complaints a...

hey guys first order of business- AP French test review: ★☆☆☆☆ i didn't end up taking it LOL i walked out because it turned out it would end at like 4 and that's literally when i had work today so whats more important? the bag or the french ap test are you kidding AND i got paid today so it literally is not a thought in my mind.  second order of business- adrian's kickback: ????? so many people irl were talking about adrian's kickback today. the videos on tik tok of whatever happened today are so terrible everyone looks so tik tok it's actually atrocious and now it's like a whole thing it's unbelievable. it's interesting though to see how this generation can like, pull of an event like that. like, people showed up to that josh fight or the area 51 thing and social media was super useful for planning protests last summer, so cool i guess.  third order of business- hay day: ★★★★★ okay  i love talking about hay day. me and lily are in the same neighborhood ...
