OK OK OK SO

yesterday, i was made aware that bladee was releasing an album on may 28. so basically, 3 pm the day before because... timezones or whatever. so i stayed home and waited until 3 pm to hear it. i had heard one of the songs, hotel breakfast, before because it was somehow leaked under the name breakfast closed, and i really fucking liked it. so basically, i was screaming and crying and throwing up waiting for this album to come out. okay whatever this is hard to explain so lets get on with the review. 

reviews ♡ (they're all 5 stars)

first, i want to discuss the production because this album sounds like it was actually produced by God himself. it was produced by six people, so i'm not sure who did the producing on each individual song. i'm not very good with distinguishing producers... tough shit ig but anyway, i loved the way his voice sounds and the ad libs and all the little sounds. ofc i love all the laughter on this album, because like, laughing is one of my favorite activities, and his laugh is like baller as hell. now let me break down what i think about the songs (spoilers- i like them all)

the fool intro: the fool intro music video was SO bladee. he was wearing that armani exchange outfit he wore in that birthday post and i wasn't like sure if some of the shots were him because he's bladee you can never tell. anyway, the song is so good. so confess moment for sure.

let's ride: there are so many things to say. first, proud of him that he got his license, but we saw that in the opium dreams music video, however he literally says he pulls up on a bmx bike so who is really to say. also, can't believe he gave away his moncler </3 how tragic. truly a sacrifice he wasn't wrong. if he actually means what he says in this song, he's sober, buddhist, and has signed a deal with god so. good for him. 

hotel breakfast: i had already heard this song and i loved it. hearing it on the album was so amazing it was such good quality <333 i love his laugh, and oh my god is the verse phenomenal. every single thing he says is actually like holy shit. i'm bladee she call me bladey. i'll be in the city walking around like a tourist. 

I THINK...: THIS SONG IS ACTUALLY PROBABLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER. UM LOL I LOVE THIS SONG. i can't even explain or review this song you just HAVE to listen to it. this is the most song ever to be sure i can't believe it's real. 

THEE 9 IS UP: UM ANOTHER FUCKING BALLER SONG THIS SONG IS ACTUALLY SO CRAZY LISTEN TO IT RN!! the woman's voice at the beginning is actually so interesting. i really want to know where it's from. genius says it's from the 2004 movie closer. interesting. anyway, this song is crazy the shell is pretty the devils busy.

desiree: yeaahhhh good song. i really like the production on this song. it's definitely a song to lay in bed at night to with the windows open. this is definitely a crying song. 

i want it that way: i'm definitely going to have memories of walking around my school listening to this song. it's so amazing. i love his voice in this song it actually sounds so angelic <3

BBY: this is a song i want to rip my face off to. i can't even begin to discuss this song. i feel like every review is like... just listen to it man. my favorite part is um when he says I'll be funny, I'll be fine, I'll be flirty, I'll be shy like what how are you going to tell me that's not actually man fuck i don't know next song

inspiration comes: drain high school football tryouts sounds like the premise of a drain gang fan fiction. i've read a few bladee fan fictions (unfortunately), and a couple are in high school settings. crazy shit man. thaiboy's verse is flawless and the post chorus the love is in the air thing is so adorable :))))

egobaby: rest in peace avicii also his laugh is so fucking funny and that high parts are astounding. groundbreaking work bladee ummm lololololol he's so unreal i love everything he does... 

TRENDY: THIS SONG IS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I'VE EVER HEARD LOLOLOL i would bash my head into a wall to this song. i literally can't even fathom like he's so incredible when he said i didn't mean to startle you i wanted to die that moment actually like have you ever felt pure joy anyway yes he's so trendy

search true: i like this song a lot. this is a song where it's like you don't need to know what he's saying. also the thunder sounds are actually godlike he just never misses. my favorite lyric is hit em w the left hand stretch them right hand bless them like ok esoteric king.

finally, wett (water 2): this is the perfect outro song for this album. i love this song it's so beautiful. i would listen to this song while swimming in an indoor pool alone. the wave sound at the end it's like. godlike.

in conclusion, i love every single song on this album. he never has ever missed once in his entire life. I'M OBSESSED with this fucking album i can't believe it's real. i honestly am astonished. really just blown away. i can't stop listening to it.
