 okay so it's june 2nd, which means i have to figure out the style for summer ASAP. 

i already have some ideas, but they're not the freshest. swim trunks and a bikini top is DEFINITELY the move this season, and of course i love a good tank top. my worst fashion habit is wearing The Female Manipulator outfit when i can't think of something interesting. (a female manipulator outfit consists of a tank top, big pants, and a hoodie with layered jewelry) i didn't put a lot of thought into the spring season, since i was going to school, which allowed me to recycle a lot of my winter pieces- sweater vests, big carhartts, long sleeves, etc. fall and winter fashion always gets me the most excited. i love a good sleeve or a big jacket or some nice shoes or a earth-toned button up. spring was all about these terrible little cargo shorts for me, and you WILL see me wearing them this season, but here's what i'm thinking...

i am definitely going to act on some of my long-standing outfit ideas this summer. i'm thinking leather, which is going to be difficult because i live in california and this place is not forgiving to unbreathable material. that's why i'm thinking about leather in terms of skirts and tops. i wanted a leather jacket, but i think i'll have to restrain myself until the fall. anyway, i definitely think a leather skirt is the move. i was thinking about this jean top the other day, and i wish i could find a leather top just like it. i want to just look like a creep. 

i'm also thinking about jerseys. i want a good hockey jersey or like okay hear me out.. like a fubu jersey.......... god i can't believe i just want to dress like bladee. how embarrassing. anyway, i'm going to do it. the hard part is always finding the pieces. i hate online shopping, but i guess if i really want something, i can find it online. beats going to a thrift store and not finding anything. okay, whatever. i want a hockey jersey specifically because one of the main characters on the tv show scrubs wore one consistently and i was like okay. why don't i look like that. i also don't want one that's like a good team. i was wearing my detroit tigers hoodie to work and my boss asked me about it, so i'm trying to avoid talking about sports at all costs, even though i will be wearing sports-themed clothing. i'm looking at a soviet one and one that literally says bladerunners on it.... i'm a menace... 

i really want a big coat still. i had this idea a while back about wearing a firefighter coat. i just think it would be so cute!! and i could put like cigarettes out on it. that's hot. when have you seen a bitch wearing a firefighter coat?? literally never. 

okay, finally, lets talk about shoes. i don't need new shoes (LMFAO), but i want to do something else. i've been thinking about just getting really interesting shoelaces, so that might be cool. i really like the idea of getting new tights and maybe leg warmers, but i tried that a while ago and i'm just not sure if i want to keep doing it. it's whatever. i also got some cowboy boots about a month or so ago, so i definitely want those to make an appearance in my summer outfits. i guess i'll discuss cowboy clothes for a second, because that's also something i want to get more into, but again, i might have to restrain myself until the fall. that seems more in line with a lot of leather than with visibly intoxicated goth sporty spice. 

okay and with that, i have to go to work. someone has to pay for all these goddamn clothes.

     In my last post, I briefly mentioned wanting to write about Sematary, who is an artist which simultaneously needs no introduction if you know who he is, and an at minimum 45 minute video essay if you don't.  i LOVE the concept of influencers. it's really interesting to watch someone else's life and get really invested in them just for fun. def one of my favorite things to do on the internet. my favorite influencers are/were just people posting, like just a goth girl from the midwest, or some guy with a mullet, or a soundcloud rapper's wife. the soundcloud rapper's wife is the one who inspired me to write this. yesterday, her cat was poisoned to DEATH by LILIES like the flower!!! can you even believe it!! that is going to occupy my brain for like, the next 2 weeks.  anyway, i feel like social media has been consistently closing the gap between regular person and internet personality ever since like, myspace. there are BILLIONS (maybe) of people online. anybody could be an influencer or become a real celebrity. plus, there are so many niche communities on the internet, and within those there are like popular people or accounts. it's really so interesting how our culture ...

  OK OK OK SO yesterday, i was made aware that bladee was releasing an album on may 28. so basically, 3 pm the day before because... timezones or whatever. so i stayed home and waited until 3 pm to hear it. i had heard one of the songs, hotel breakfast, before because it was somehow leaked under the name breakfast closed, and i really fucking liked it. so basically, i was screaming and crying and throwing up waiting for this album to come out. okay whatever this is hard to explain so lets get on with the review.  reviews ♡ (they're all 5 stars) first, i want to discuss the production because this album sounds like it was actually produced by God himself. it was produced by six people, so i'm not sure who did the producing on each individual song. i'm not very good with distinguishing producers... tough shit ig but anyway, i loved the way his voice sounds and the ad libs and all the little sounds. ofc i love all the laughter on this album, because like, laughing is one of my...
